In early January of 2003 Benson Seed Research leased and moved into the site of the former Monsanto Concept Farm located just northeast of York, Nebraska approximatley 1/4 mile south of HWY 34. This site is now known as the “Benson Seed Research Research Center” and serves as our base for conducting all of our extensive crop research and seed production operations in the states of Nebraska.
In addition this site houses our talented staff who are responsible for conducting day to day operations as well as functioning as a key location to maintain and store our specialized research equipment.
The research center is located north of York while the "Benson Seed Research Idea Farm" is located just south of the I80 and HWY 81 junction at York, Nebraska with the farm bordering HWY 81 on the west side. The research center and Idea Farm are spatially seperated by about five miles. Please call for direction or check out our site maps on this website.
The "Benson Seed Research Idea Farm" serves as our primary site for all of our customers crop testing, seed production, and specialized research projects needs.
