Dr. David L. Benson

Dr. Benson earned a B.S. in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska and in 1991 he earned a Ph.D in Plant Breeding and Cytogenetics from Iowa State University.

Since 1991 Dr. Benson has worked as a corn breeder, stations manager and product developer for two major US Seed companies; spending seven years with Pioneer Hi-Bred Internation at York, Nebraska.

Dr. Benson is a proven developer of inbreds and hybrids having been granted a number of hybrid and inbred patents.
