Cornhusker Hybrid seed Corn will combine the highest level s of yield potential with an industry leading level of defensive agronomic characteristics. . Our Drought and Wind tolerant or “DWT” corn seed products are extensively evaluated to provide a strong defense against high wind damage (brittle or green snap) and water use efficiency or drought stress. All Cornhusker Hybrids seed corn will carry a score for wind and drought stress. We are also excited to now offer Liberty Link Soybeans the” herbicide resistant Soybeans without yield drag “to Nebraska Soybean Growers.
Our proprietary and extensive research program focuses on evaluating all hybrids for green snap tolerance and water use efficiency. Only the hybrids that “yield the most and defend the best” will be offered for sale to Nebraska Corn Growers. We will not force either traits or seed enhancements on you. Rather we will conduct grower field days during the summer months in which we will outline our philosophy for the “Right trait package at the Right price for the Right farming operation”. At the end of the day the farmer will win who purchases the best package of traits, genetics, and seed treatments for his unique farming enterprise.
Cornhusker Hybrids is working with other independent seed companies to bring more choices for the traits and genetics that Nebraska farmer’s desire to the marketplace. These companies are “Big Cob” located in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska and “Miller Hybrids” located in Iowa City, Iowa. In 2010 we will be introducing our lineup of “DWT” hybrids to Nebraska corn growers. These hybrids will raise the bar for offensive high yielding and defensive sound agronomic characteristics of our hybrids to a new and unprecedented level. These hybrids will be our “DWT” or Drought and Wind Tolerant Hybrids and every bag will carry a “DWT” score and our exclusive “DWT” stamp of approval
